Thanks for finding your way to us! Whether you're a supporter, student, family member, or somehow found us on the interwebs... we appreciate you joining us here!

To orient you to where and who we are, we're going to zoom out for a second. The Emerging Chefs program resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, unceded territories of the Monacan and Manahoac Siouan- and Algonquian-speaking peoples. There is a rich history in this Valley and we hold the legacies of this region with care. We encourage you to read more into this history on the website of our dear friends in Keezletown, VA, at Silver Run Forest Farm.

Our program has been running since 2011 and now 13 years later we finally have a website! It's going to take some time to fully express the ins and outs of our program, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, we hope that you take your time cooking this summer and surround yourself with family and friends. We would like to extend deep gratitude to all of the supporters of our program over the years- the care and love that surrounds us is awe-inspiring.
